I was working a lot during the past few days to create a range of custom watercolor portraits.
So far there are 4 styles available (yeah!). I will show you my 4 examples. Of course these are only examples of the custom portrait you will get.

My favorite is this one of Emma Watson. It's full of details with butterflies on her lips, eyebrows and hairs. Her sweater is made of pastel round watercolor splash.

Your profile on an Alfons Mucha's woman painting

I'm very excited about this new custom project !
I'm a huge fan of Art Nouveau, so, of course, I simply love Alfons Mucha's work !
He was a Czech Art Nouveau painter and decorative artist of the late 19th, known best for his distinct style. He produced many paintings, illustrations, advertisements, postcards, and designs. His Art Nouveau style was often imitated. The Art Nouveau style however, was one that Mucha attempted to disassociate himself from throughout his life; he always insisted that rather than maintaining any fashionable stylistic form, his paintings were entirely a product of himself and Czech art.

So I was looking at one of his portrait of a woman in profile. I realized that it could be really easy to change the profile line of the woman to create a completely different woman. The cool part will be to use a real woman profile from a photography. (Actually Mucha's himself used photographies of women to create his paintings -during the 19th, yes!)

I tried and here are two of my creations. What do you think? It's crazy to see how it can change this woman!

My name is Marion, I'm a French illustrator. I create all kind of illustrations that I sell on my Zazzle and Etsy shop
I decided to create this blog in order to share with you my work, and a little bit of my life in Paris.

Marion de Lauzun

Born and raised in South West France, Marion de Lauzun now lives in Paris, a stone’s throw from Montmartre.

She graduated with a Master's degree in International Management from NortheasternUniversity in Boston, Massachusetts (USA). She created the online shop foliedujour.com. The shop offers digital French advertising posters from 1890 to 1960.

After working for a few years in the e-commerce sector, she recently ventured into the art world, in particular graphic digital design.

She enjoys working with all kinds of graphic designs and elements, such as antique French illustrations, typographic designs, paintings, photos, etc. Her work is influenced by the French Belle Époque (Victorian Era), the Années Folles (Roaring Twenties), as well as her many travels around the World.
